The reports of my computer's death have been greatly exaggerated

I'm baaaaack.  My grandson and my horse returned, both none the worse for the wear.  Life is good.

Ok, now I can tell you the horror story.  Years ago I was working for a horse camp (year round) in Oregon.  Not too far from us was the Jefferson Wilderness area.  Kinda like a National Park but not as well maintained.  My friend decided to take her foster children (2 of them both teens) and herself horse camping.  She had two horses but needed to borrow one from the camp.  We gave her one of our least favorite horses and saddles.  Two nights later I get a call (the directors were out of town) from her.  She has lost Chincadero, the horse.  They ran into a ground nest of bees.  He bucked the girl off and took off.  She was of course frantic.  The story does end well.  He was found 3 days later without his saddle and a huge saddle sore on his withers.  It took months to heal.
It was the first thing I thought of when you said you were lending your horse for the weekend was this story!  I couldn't tell you before he got home safely!
