Fun in the snow

When there's no school, the granddaughters usually sleep in, since their brother Brett is at home with them until they wake up.  Then they call us and Cliff goes after them.  The trouble is, our Mercury Marquis doesn't get around in the snow at all.  He made it back to our driveway with the girls, but couldn't get to the garage.  So, he decided to back down the road and have another run at it.  Big mistake.  Finally, with help from a neighbor kid, he got the thing inside the shop.  By that time, he was pretty grumpy.

I kept my distance; in fact, I took refuge with the girls and their sleds.  After several trips up the hill with a sled, I might be taking a nap soon.

  3. Sounds like you need a sleigh for Blue to pull to go get the girls in. I want some snow to play in!

  4. I love the pictures of you and the girls sledding.  Such wonderful memories for them when they are adults!
Glad you got the car back in the garage.  When we go up to see the snow we have to have chains on the tires.  They won't let us up the mountain otherwise.
    Stay warm and have fun!

  5. I do not care for snow, but you and the girls make it look like fun. No fun for Cliff though. Wonderful memories for the girls.

  7. I know it's heading this way but I hate to tell you this.  It was 79 degrees when I drove home from the office today.  Boy is the weatherman confused.
