So, many of our "You've Got Pictures" albums have disappeared from our journals. What's up with that? I went to Magic Smoke to report it, and noticed others are experiencing the same thing.
With the cold and snow outside, I don't have a lot to blog about. I did go out and play with Libby for just awhile this afternoon, so she wouldn't think I'd forgotten her. She is just like Blue: Not only does she allow you to hug her, but she practically begs to be hugged. I brushed and curried her, and my hands smell "horsey" right now, but I rather enjoy it. So I'm not in a hurry to wash them. (I know how stupid that must seem... you horse people will understand.) When I took Libby back to the pasture and removed the halter, she stayed right there, wanting more affection. Then Blue came over and asked for some attention also. What sweet horses!
I have made an appointment with an orthopedic doctor to see about my knees. As much as I hate it, I think I'm about ready for knee replacement. Walking in that snow really did me in. And if I'm going to be laid up for any period of time, I'd rather it be in winter, not in good horse-back riding weather!

Yes and my backgrounds too....
Hugs,

Hopefully there will be something other than knee replacement. I hate knives! I don't think it's wierd the smells we like. I like a perticular smell of wet boggy dirt. This came from so many hours spent in deep wet ditches. I also like the smell and sound of a diesel engine. How girlie is that?
I've had doggie smell on my hands and enjoyed it....so I can relate. Each doggie has their own "scent" like humans do. I had been petting ours for a long time. It was nice.
I'm going to have to go back and check my albums. I don't even DARE ask what AOL is gonna do next??
I love your horse stories. Good luck with the knee. Don't get two knee replacements done at once, though. Then, you're REALLY laid up.
Pam
I guess we'll just have to be pictureless for a while...I hope they all come back, but if not they are on my computer and I can always view them anytime I want.
I have a friend that is having a hip replacement this winter for the same reason as you...she'll be all better by the time good weather comes. Take good care !

I just went to my journal and I had no pictures that I put in last week. Just said "cannot display page". Aiyiyi~! Makes me nuts.
I love the horsey smell. Miss the horsey smell.

I hope they come back, I noticed today I had entered some pics in Furr Babies, & shortly after they were gone.
Hope you get some good news on your kness.
Hugs, Sugar
Did you have some kind of work done a year or two on your knees? I remember getting aweb site from yours showing knee surgery. I just went thru the series of injections (that rooster comb stuff) in the hopes of putting off knee surgery. Hurt like the devil!!
I think the pictures are back.
Ihope they can do good on the knees.
Yes, we like that horsey smell too. :) I also like the way Phoenix smells. He smells like a stuffed animal to me.
It sucks about the AOL pictures. I haven't been able to see any of them... for the ones who use the AOL You've Got Pictures, album. I use photobucket. Never have a problem with them.
Sorry to hear about your knees, Donna..

Oh. Argh. Gaaaah! AOL is suffering growing pains (or something) and sadly, we are suffering along with them. Will it never cease? Good luck with the doc(s)!
