So, how did Cliff do without me?

Some of you were wondering about poor ole Cliff.

Worry no more.

He doesn't particularly like having to get out of bed to make his own coffee, but he managed.  He says the thing he hated most was having to get up and take the dog out, first thing.  Cliff is not a morning person.  He's used to lying in bed while he drinks his first couple of cups of coffee (carried to him by yours truly), waking up slowly.

Like this (taken this morning).

He had the audacity to go for a motorcycle ride without me.  He tore out some fence, getting ready for the appearance of our "new" home.

He tells me he ate too much while I was away.  I can't say anything; so did I.

  3.  No wonder Cliff has such a smile on his face ... coffee ... cozy bed ... I WONDER WHAT IS ON HIS COFFEE CUP ... IS IT SOMETHING SASSY, OR PATRIOTIC?  I think there is an eagle on it?

  6. Awww....he looks so contented. Men, they DO get spoiled don't they.

The worst I think was my dad......get this.....my mom would get up before dad, around 5 AM. Dad got up at 5:15 or so. Mom would......are you ready for THIS......put the toothpaste on HIS toothbrush!!! Then go in and make the coffee, his breakfast, and his lunch. There were no fast food places around the little town we lived in at the time, so he had to take his lunch everyday. She did this for the entire 36 years he worked for Standard Oil Co. Now that's what I call spoiled...lol. But then.......he spoiled her too.

Welcome home Donna !! Glad you had a great trip. I was coming home from Georgia on Thursday the 3rd......had a lay-over in Dallas and was wishing I could just stay there and see all the reunion folks. From your pictures it looks like there was a good group in attendance.

  10. He's so sweet looking laying there in bed with his coffee.  That's also sweet of you to take it to him like that.
