So, what did Cliff do at the fair today?
He admired how well a tractor had smoothed off the surface of the arena where Angus cattle were being shown.
He admired an old tractor that had been restored.
He drooled over equipment that was way too big for any of his tractors to handle.
He looked at red tractors made in India
.
He stood in line to buy us a bargain snow-cone.
It was dollar day, you know.
And he bought us both a caramel apple with nuts!
I don't care if I ever see another corn dog. Since they were only a buck today, I had four of them. Burp.

So we know what Donna did today. She followed along with Cliff taking pictutes. LOL. Thanks for sharing. It appears to have been an interesting day. Helen
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you both had fun. I don't think we have dollar days, at least not when we go, They do have a senior citizen day though and that's when I go so entry is free. That's our county fair. I don't make it to the State Fair much as it's a good drive away. 'On Ya' - ma

I guess it's an occupational/regional hazard, this odd attraction to all things tractor.
ReplyDeleteThe last fair I attended in rural, and I mean RURAL Pennsylvania, I saw two male pigs getting real busy. Who knew!
You are so funny!

Oh yay! You went afterall! Be honest... You couldn't resist after seeing my fun photos, right? LOL!! ;-) No corn dogs today. Today was ride all you want/wrist band day. But I had my Italian sausage and peppers on a roll and a ton of cotton candy. Mmm. Cotton candy. That's my weakness.
ReplyDeleteNow you've made me want to go to our state fair. It'll be tough dragging CY there since he suffers from arthritis and has been having a bad time lately.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking us on Cliff's day at the fair. Where were the animals? My grandson knows nothing about tractors except that he thinks they are awesome. The snow cones sound really good right now in the heatwave. Why don't you all share some of them. The apple looks good too. I have had one of those in ages. Dang, it's 5am and now I'm hungry to sweets. I'll check out the rest of the pictures. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Chrissie
LoL went to the other pictures. I was gonna fight you for the watermelon. That pumpkin is pretty big now. Thanks for sharing.
