There's a man working on a front porch for us, and Cliff is doing some dirt work in the yard. Things that have been at a standstill are now starting to move along.
LOL...weed mountain, I like that. The neighbors have one right up against our fence from digging for their pool. It was on our property, but we payed someone to move their weed mountain over to their side of the property when we put up the fence. Nice weed mountain removal going on around there. :) Kelly
That looks MUCH better than the weed mountains. I often wonder why people leave those in the yard after building. I still see them next to new homes and they have TALL weeds and year after year those weeds keep coming back lol You would think they would flatten it out have some nice dirt to work with too.
I kept a journal on AOL for over four years. AOL decided to get rid of journals, so I transferred my memories from there to Blogspot. I don't intend to add to this site, except perhaps to add some pictures that were lost in the transfer; I'm keeping it for the memories: memories of babysitting my granddaughters; of my long-gone dog, Mandy; of nights spent at the cabin; of vacations and motorcycles bought and sold.
Thanks, Blogspot, for helping me save my memories.
I was born in 1944. My husband and I are retired, living in a mobile home, and loving life every day with our oldest grandson living in our old house next door to lend us a helping hand if we need it.

I love porches and love the shade and comfort they provide all summer long. I'm glad you'll have one soon. 'On Ya' - ma
Nice to time to landscape while the dirt is fresh....well, if the weather is not too hot. lol
I'm glad that things are starting to come together for you & Cliff. Your back yard does look better....

You seem to always have some kind of activity going on around you. That's kind of fun for us!
Can't wait to see the porch! Could the propane tank be buried like some oil tanks are ?
How exciting! You are having so many positive changes going on this year!
xoxo
