Here's how Sadie usually sleeps, when she isn't stretched out on a rug. I took this picture just now. Eventually I'll get her one of those big cushions, but she'll make do with this bed until my ship comes in. OK, until my rowboat comes in.

ReplyDeleteJust thought I would tell you I love "Sadie"...She is adorable. She reminds me so much of my dog that died 2 years ago. Her name was "Brownie". I now have a 2 year old chihuahua named "Cookie". We love her so much! Yes, "Sadie needs a bigger bed...LOL

Mo, I just got Luke a new bed at Costco and I am sure Sams probably has them. I got the biggest one they have and the cover comes off so you can wash it. I paid !19.99, but I remember when I paid 12.99. Oh well, they last a very long time. Now, I am sure she would love to sleep with you and Cliff, but honestly, it's going to take a lot of prayer to get Cliff trained. One of the funniest stories you EVER told was when Mandie stiffed Cliff's foot (?) or leg....he had put some Bengay on it. Tell it again, please? Anne
ReplyDeleteShe looks comfortable to me.... reminds me of my cat. he looks for the smallest places to sleep... guess he likes to be cozy. It will be interesting to see if she still sleeps here after you get the big cushion for her.

I just noticed the food bowl lol. I got Doodle the sameone but smaller red also. Walmart right? BUT I took the label off. Sadie has a very good life and she looks like she loves her bed. We also have a 15 year old dog named Bear and he sleeps on my rugs in the living room, the cat sleeps in the bed of course.

This is just about the cutest thing I have seen lately. Sadie is a sweetie and looks just so comfy. I just love dogs !! I am sure Sadie is saisfied just being close to you. Too cute !!

I know this is minus the cute-factor, but be on the lookout for one of the bottom (or seat) cushions of a old sofa. Sometimes you can get them at the Goodwill. They are perfect dog-size, and you can unzip the upholstery and wash it, set the foam outdoors to air. They are also the perfect size to fit in the bottom of a dog crate. (The mid-lg size ones, anyway)
