Your Monday Photo Shoot: Domestic Wildlife
I don't believe I've ever used this in an assignment, although I did do a previous entry on it.
He isn't dead, he's only "playing possum" so the dogs will leave him alone.
Wow! Take a look at those chompers!!! Good thing he's playing dead!

ReplyDeleteI think oppossums are cool! Even though I grew up on a farm, I'd never really seen one up close. I mostly saw them smashed on the road. But then when I was living in the student slums in Lawrence, I saw one perched on the edge of a dumpster. He looked very clean and furry and so I reached out to pet him. Mistake! He turned around, hissed and flashed some massive teeth. Lesson learned.
