Yeah, this blog is going to the dogs

With four inches of rain in the gauge and still more coming, I hunted up an old plastic poncho and headed out with camera in hand.  I didn't take Sadie because it's hard to deal with her on a leash if I'm going to take pictures.  Blondie was glad to go with me, though.  Totally unlike Sadie, she stays right near me.

I was taking a picture of our full pond when Blondie went straight to the edge, walked in, and started swimming.  A water-dog!!!

    Well, what do you know?? lol  There is something about a dog that loves to follow behind you, and you don't have to yell or tell her to get over here.  No leashes.  It is nice.  My chihuaha is like that.  She walks along side me when I take my daily walk.  No leash.  She is so good!

    Looks like you may have a keeper, Donna!

    You can send some of that rain down south to us. We sure need it big time. We are burning up and you guys are water logged. I hope you didn't get any of that bad weather although i know you would have blogged about it if you had.
    I would probably fall in love with that dog and end up keeping her. I love dogs. There just isn't anything like them. They are the best.

    You know i was thinking she looks alot like benji. That dog on that show that used to come on years ago.
    She's to cute. I think you should keep her.
    I think she suite's you. Ya'll look like a pair. And she seems to get along with sadie pretty good to so thats a plus  :-)

    I predict that at the end of two weeks you won't be able to part with her.  Cliff already loves her but doesn't know it yet.  She is too cute for words.  Vicki

    Your Blondie looks just like my Annie did when she was younger! I bet she has golden retriever in her! Annie too use to love the water in her younger days.

    We are finally having some nice dry weather after what seemed like endless days and nights of gray and rain.  But soon, we'll need more of the wet stuff to keep our lawns green and our gardens growing.  Love Blondie ... I hope her owners turn up soon.

    She'd probably be fun for your granddaughters to play with. I bet she'll fetch a stick and catch a ball really good!  I like dogs that enjoy water. I hope you keep her.

    Two isn't any more trouble than one now is it?  I  think she is perfect and she swims and walks with you.  A total keeper IMO.

    I love the pictures.  Blondie does look like she has some Setter or Lab in her.  Looks like she and Sadie are getting along okay.
