The grandson did find his lost wallet... in his pickup, under his morning glass of iced tea. He did check in with his insurance agency, and received a check to cover damages to his pickup.
He made it to the temp agency today, to put in an application for a new job.
Wish him luck.
And pray for his grandma, because 90% of the time the boy is an angel... but the other 10% is what drives Grandma crazy!

I have a grandson living with me (some of the time) and as you say that 10% is what drives me to my knees. (which always helps)
ReplyDeleteJust 10%? Then you are a lucky woman.
ReplyDeleteThank the good Lord for those little blessings that come our way. It's such a pain to loose our wallets and to replace what's in them. Maybe he'll be a little more careful for awhile now. And yes, I'll say a little prayer for you too !

Glad that he fond hs things and good luck to him on finding a good job. Prayers going up for him and his Grandma. Helen
ReplyDeleteBe glad it's not 90/10 in the other direction! Glad he found his wallet!

Eventually they get it together. Or not. But Grandma will survive ... she's tough!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I think it takes boys so much longer to get organized. On second thought, what am I saying? Courtney's room is messier than Nick's and Aaron's at this very moment!! Hugs,

I hope my grandson is good 90% of the time. Right now he's two so he's half and half.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Chrissie
Alright! I am so glad to hear he found his wallet and that he is taking care of business! I think ninety percent of the time is a great ratio. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad he found the wallet, and I hope he gets a job.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's that 10% that'll do you in every time!
