Ah-HEM!!!! Just for Amy (and other city slickers)

Yes, Secret's new buddy will be a male.  Please notice that I said we will make him a steer.  That means he will be neutered.  And we really will turn him into hamburger, meat loaf, and other good stuff at some time after Secret has a baby.  Secret won't mind at that point.  She'll have her baby for company.

No, we won't have a problem eating an animal we've raised.  We've done it many times.

Just call me Hard-hearted Mosie.

  1. I remember the pigs you guys had (for dinner...lol).  Any more new piglets on the horizon?!  Ryan always liked seeing them...

  2. So you won't make him a steer until Secret has her baby? Is that right? Or will you get her together with another male somewhere?

  9. One of the 1st commissions I got when I started selling real estate was a cow in lieu of a cash commission. She went on to have 3 bull calves (turned into steers, then freezer meat) before she had a heifer. Best commission I ever got! ( I also took a 1 yr old above ground pool in lieu of commission, 2nd best commission !)

  12. Your Meatloaf sounds like my Juicy! The kids named him Juicy, but I thought it was appropriate since his entire purpose in life was to grow up, get fat, and become a nice juicy steak for me! lol
