It just made no sense. Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11 and now we have terrorists blooming there that weren't there before. I don't even watch the news anymore. I get to aggravated.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8395555111688403818.post-58039045824391514962006-01-24T20:25:00.000-08:002006-01-24T20:25:00.000-08:00Oh Mo, Vietnam still affects me. Since my husband did not have a high rank, I was pushed to the back on the line at the PX and we lived in terrible poverty. When we got home, after his time, I was spit at for having a husband in the war. ALSO, I lost my friend who happened to be my very first first boyfriend, when he did his duty in Vietnam. He stepped on a land mine and was killed instantly. It's all still painful to me and I know I would cry if I watched it. Maybe oneday......glad you reccommended it to others though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8395555111688403818.post-67720156446205364302006-01-24T20:51:00.000-08:002006-01-24T20:51:00.000-08:00War is an ugly thing that is for sure.War is an ugly thing that is for sure.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8395555111688403818.post-57266463319895297622006-01-24T21:38:00.000-08:002006-01-24T21:38:00.000-08:00Don't worry -- this won't make you a liber...Don't worry -- this won't make you a liberal. You're a thoughtful human and thoughtful humans don't want to see human suffering. I read a story today that said that American casualties in Iraq (from torso shots) would have been 82% less if the body armour was made with technology we've had for years. It's so awful that I can't pin down a single identifiable emotion. grief? anger? madness?
