Cliff and I had not intended to go to any family reunions this year; his weekend "relaxing" times are precious, and we planned to stay home and chill out.

However, when this past weekend brought us temperatures with lows in the 60's and highs in the low 80's, we knew it was time to ride the motorcycle.  What better destination than the town, one hundred miles away, where my mom's family reunion is held?

I'll be posting more pictures of our actual ride in other entries either here or on my Blogger site.

I'm so thankful for the weather we're having; this is unheard of in Missouri, in August!

It's great  you got to go.  I haven't been to my mom's family reunion in years and years and I miss not seeing everyone.  It is much further away which makes it difficult.   Cool here with mid 70's to lower 60's at night.  Very unusual, but it will heat back up after today.  'On Ya' - ma

How wonderful...besides the bathrooms.  :)   It's nice to spend time with family and even better when you can do it in the beautiful outdoors!

I love the old merry-go-round.  It's good that it is still operational.

Glad your temps have been mild.  Ours has been better than normal too.  It is truly a blessing.

Our weather has been cool also, but very rainy with storms almost every day.

The weather here is amazing also. I dont think I ever remember days in the 80s and nights in the 60s here in August. It sure is nice though. Like you say, puts you in the mood to do unexpected things. :) Looks like a good crowd there at the reunion. Kelly
