Three things that make me smile

Cliff's sister, Rena, has started going on walks with us; so has her tiny dog, Angel.  But first, Angel checks out Sadie's Science Diet dog food and eats as though she's starved.  Then Sadie intervenes and starts hogging down her dog food as though there won't be any more, ever.  Dogs make me laugh; thank God for dogs.

As Cliff left for work, I saddled up my faithful horse and went for a ride.  It was hot and muggy, and I didn't work Blue too hard.  As always, a ride along the country roads relaxed me.

Oh, this?  It's a close-up shot of the stuff my Dyson vacuum sweeper picks up around here.  Notice the abundance of dog hair.

I love my Dyson.

Cute pictures. Dogs can be so funny. Our Daisy pulls some slick tricks. She will see our Patches sitting in the chair with Ken. She takes off running outside barking then Patches follows her barking. She then comes immediately back inside and hops into the chair with Ken. LOL. Ken got one of those sweepers with a motor run by battery. I can run it over the scatter rugs and kitchen every couple of days  and get about a cup of hair everytime. I have quit giving Patches her vitamin because she ate grass everytime an hour or so after eating it so I think it might hurt her tummy. She has lost so much of her hair. Helen

Sadie's coat looks gorgeous!  So shiny!!

Girl, you do not want to see the mess my vacuum picks up.  I fill the canister with each room....so that means I have to empty it out about 5 or 6 times.  Craziness!  I swear I'm going to shave the Golden bald.  LOL

I don't have any problem with the updates so I'm no help there.  I think we need them and wouldn't turn them off. Hope someone else has some good advice for you.  I think it's a good idea to list those things we love and laugh about.  It brings things into balance.  'On Ya' - ma

The silly thing is ... when you see animals doing things like this ... it helps you laugh when you see similar things that humans are doing!

Dogs are definitely a wonderful thing. :) A have been hooked on watching The Dog Whispererer on the National Geographic Channel these days. I just love to watch him retrain the owners and as he says, rehabilitate the dogs. He is amazing. Its hot and muggy here too. I have to get out pretty early and get inside before I have to grow gills to breathe the air during the day here. ;) Kelly
