Meatloaf had been away from home for almost three months. There are no barns or sheds on the property where he's been mooching, so we had not had any way to catch him and bring him home. The farmer with whose cows he was staying wasn't upset at all by his presence. "He isn't hurting anything," he said.
Friday night he called me on the phone to inform me that he had managed to trap Meatloaf in the one makeshift pen on the place, and would meet us Saturday morning to help us get him in the trailer.
Everything went well, and Meatloaf is finally home.
Welcome home, you ugly little critter.

Oh my gosh, what a sneaky little devil that Meatloaf is. I hope he got a nice 'welcome home' reception from Secret! LOL ... Did they kiss hello? Judy
I'm sure Secret is glad that Meatloaf is home.

I am sure that Secret was glad to see him. She has had no company where he probably had other cattle around him. He has really grown. Helen
Well, he maybe be an ugly critter, but, still, he's kind of cute. Glad he's home. :)
Ahhh, glad Meatloaf is back with Secret. I'm sure he's got some tales to tell her. :-)

It's nice to know the farmer wasn't upset about it. Meatloaf has grown so I guess he found the mooching to his liking. I wonder if Secret minds sharing her pasture with him again. 'On Ya' - ma
I kept looking and looking at that first picture of Meatloaf and I couldn't see him! And, I studied that picture for a long time! (I had forgotten that he is black). Even in the cropped pic, I still had a hard time making him out. I thought the black area was just a shadow! lol
Anyway.. glad he is home! He certainly looks healthy! :)

Wow he sure has grown! Glad he is back home. After all, you did get him as a companion animal for Secret. Guess he went hunting for greener pastures for a while...lol. They always are looking over the fence arent they. ;) Kelly
Wow! Neither of them are babies any more!
