a cheap giveaway of sorts

I checked Ebay; these old 1984 Rock magazines aren't worth that much; but they're in such good condition that I hate to toss them if somebody would love to have them.

They belonged to my son; none of my family that I've asked wants them.

So, if you are a reader and would like to have them just for a trip down memory lane, I'll send them to you.  I'll pay the postage.

Perhaps nobody's interested.  But just in case more than one of you wants these relics, tell me why you'd like to have them; the person with the best reason for wanting them gets them.  If you're unable to leave a comment, send me an email at mosie1944@aol.com.

I'll put this on Blogger also, where you can click on the picture and make it larger, for more detail.

Oh I noticed David Lee Roth right away on the Hit Parader mag!  I used to be in love with him as a teen! lol  Now a days he's not so handsome.  I would love to have them :)  But if someone else would LOVE them go ahead and send to them.  I would stick them in my box with my old scrap book filled with DLR pictures.  ;)  My daughter cracks up every time she sees my old scrapbook.

Wow. Quite a trip down memory lane.  I was such a dork. I liked the Superteen magazines with TV and movie stars more than rock stars.  Isn't that funny?  Maybe not funny.  Maybe not even interesting.  Just flashing back. Thanks for the memory-jog!

Lol, I can best the lady with the DLR scrapbook. I was country when country wasn't cool, I had a scrapbook of Conway and Loretta. Still do. Lol, Sheila

Oh my Gosh... My son would LOVE to have them. He's a rock'n'roll kid and loves Van halen and Kiss. Music is his world. He plays guitar and wants to start his own band. Stuff like this he's loves and would save.
I'm suprised that they aren't worth more on Ebay.

Take care  :-)

I have a feeling you won't have any trouble finding a new home for them.  They are in such good condition, too!
