Whatever it is I am upset. Seems like the whole world is rigged these days. I just loved that horse he had such a spirit about him. He looked like a winner to me.

I don't know horse racing so I can't tell ya one way or the other :)

I  thought about it but what do I know.  It is scary though when they show how close those horses run.  I always worry about those spindly little legs.  Marlene

No I didn't think so but it does make you wonder if the horse is really that good since this is the first time without steriods

If ever a race gave the appearance that would be one.

It was odd that he came out dead last.   I thought the heat and his sore foot were factors, you'll never know.   Vicki

Like most everything in sports....it's all about the $$$. Sad to say. I'm just thankful none of the animals were hurt this race.

At first I was so upset about what "happened," but then I must say, plenty of people around here(we have a large race track nearby)have been saying it was so.  I sort of hate the idea of horse racing, but I am in the minority, esp around here. ~Mary

Much has been written about the character issues of BB connections.
They were acting very strange after the race.

As it is so too often said...and later proven true...FOLLOW THE MONEY.  Who stood to gain far more than the purse if there was no payout on Big Brown running against a muddle bunch of lesser horses....

BIG BROWN NOT TO COME IN FIRST, SECOND OR THIRD....

Follow the money.
