Now this is something I might use

I stumbled across this on another blog (Journey to my Father's House) and discovered that there's a way to make your own book, right from your computer.  It would be cost-prohibitive if you were making several books (to sell, for instance), but if you only wanted one for a keepsake, I'd call it reasonable.  I'm thinking of putting together a selection of some of my favorite journal and blog entries in book form, just for myself.

As I understand it, you download the software, put your book together, and then order it; you can get hardback or softback.

Books like this would make good Christmas gifts for family, too.

Check it out at blurb.com.

I ordered a blurb to compare to our books at work.  Did you forget that I can make books at work?  Ours are better, too.

Hi Mosie :)

For some reason, I can click and go to my profile on my JTMFH. I wonder why you can't? Hmmm.

Anyway, you can check the link here at Gif's Corner (my AOL blog) - It's under All About Me section - http://journals.aol.com/gifdude/GifsCorner/

Donna......my son has made three of the books.  His are mostly of pictures as he is not to wordybut he does take 100s of pictures.  He made one of his honeymoon and then two different vacations. He surprised his wife with them.  They are really great for family reunions too.
