On to better old picture subjects

I found this endearing old school picture of my daughter, Rachel.  Can you tell she had a mother who had no clue how to fix a little girl's hair?  Or how to choose a wardrobe, for that matter.

Now for the biggie.  Drumroll, please!

I only had one boyfriend besides Cliff.  My mother had this picture of me and David tucked away in one of her many albums.  He was very talented and could play guitar exactly like Chet Atkins; those were his good points.  He was also a cheapskate, and extremely cross eyed.  See, nobody's perfect.  With no further ado, I give you a picture of me and my first boyfriend.

Notice David has his guitar upside down.  He was left-handed, so he played it this way.

I love these pics. I had a Brownie as well but the pictures are long since gone.

I can't see the pic of David so I'll come back later. I love this. THis is just great fun.

That hairstyle was popular for little girls in those days. She was a pretty child. I used to do my daughters her that way also. From this picture David looks a  handsome young man. Of course he isn't looking up. That is a very good picture of the both of you anyway. Helen

The styles back then were laughable compared to now and my kids often have a good laugh out of the pictures showing what they wore then.  How beautiful you are and with your guitar too !  'On Ya' - ma

Oh look!  Matching shirt and socks!  LOL

You had the same style glasses my sister wore then.  Really, this is a fun walk down memory lane.  Keep 'em coming.

Wonderful!  The picture of Rachel is adorable (1975, let's see, I was 9 then), and the one of you and the first boyfriend is equally adorable.  I have heard of other left-handed people learning to play the guitar upside down.
