I've been scanning

I've scanned thirty of my dad's old post cards.  I'm sure they were all made before 1924, because that's the year his mother died, and some of them are signed by her.

It's a real shame that so many people back then wrote letters and notes with lead pencils, because the writing fades so badly you can't make out a lot of it.

I'm having a problem with AOL pictures when I try to make an album; that's why I stopped with four post cards.  Sometimes I'll think it's uploading just fine, then I'll get a message that says, "No pictures were uploaded".

These are beautiful. I hate they quit making them pretty like that. Seemed like more of a personal touch somehow. Helen

Those are great!  I've been wracking my brain trying to think of what you could do with them...something creative.  Maybe frame them?  Still thinking but they are so pretty they should be displayed somehow.

Aren't you lucky to have these! Make sure you somehow label the history of them for future generations.  Don't tell me that you're having trouble with this AOL picture slide show ... I was going to try adding of my photos to my journal that way.
