Appreciating the prayers

I just received word that Edna's husband passed away.  The cousin who called me told me something I didn't know:  The man had Alzheimer's.  In my book, that puts a whole different perspective on his death.  And as Cliff said, at least he didn't have to lay and suffer.  So now the prayers will go for the family.

As for the friend with cancer, his chances are great for beating it, as the cancer is contained and has not spread.  Still, going through radical chemo or radiation, or any of the treatments for cancer, is not always easy.  So prayers and positive energy for him are appreciated.

Holly still hasn't found her bird; I'm sure she has looked all day.  She's put ads and flyers out all over her little town.

My prayers are with their family's.  It's so hard losing someone so close!   I have lost a mother and 2 brothers and I miss them terribly still to this day!

Wow.  I had no idea.  A soul at rest at last, I guess.

You are so right...Alzheimer's adds another perpective completely. I'm glad the young man has a positive prognosis. And the bird...well....I hope he's safe and well. Sorry for your friend.

I just read this morning about Hollies bird. I had that happen with Sasha once...what an ordeal, but he is back with us. I keep his feathers trimmed now, she might do the same, just as a precaution. There are websites that show exactly how to trim a parrots wings so that it cant fly away. I am so sorry about Ednas husband. Sending out good thoughts and prayers for your friend with cancer, hoping she will beat it for good.

I'm so sorry about Edna's husband.  I'll keep his family in my prayers.  I'm glad that the friend with cancer chances are great.  That's wonderful!  I'll continue to pray.  I sure hope that Holly finds her bird too.

I'm so sorry about Edna's husband, but your point is well taken -- at least it didn't drag on, neither for him nor for the family.

Continued prayers for your friend and Edna and the family.   I do hope Holly finds her bird as well -- she'll feel better if she just knows what happened to it.
