Some things I forget to be thankful for

I know:  if I'd have used proper English, it would have been phrased like this:  "Some things for which I forget to be thankful."  There's some silly rule about not ending a sentence with a preposition.

Who talks like that?  Nobody that I know.

Somewhere during my meanderings around the Internet this evening, I read a person's description of the migraine headaches she regularly has.

That's when I realized how seldom I have a headache.

In fact, the only time I ever have a headache these days is when I'm running a fever.

Which is just often enough to let me know how blessed and glorious it is to not have headaches.

Thank You, Lord.

Me too!  I used to have them a lot and when I started taking an anti inflamatory for my arthritus, they stopped. I very seldom take them anymore since I lost a lot of weight, but I am still headache free.

This is a great thank you.  I'm with you, I can't remember all the rules for grammar either and English was my very best subject.  Hugs,

I pretty much get 'em only with sinus infections.  How's THAT for poor grammer?  Actually, I don't get headaches much, but they DO suck.  Thanks for the anti-headache gene.

I rarely have headaches and I'm so thankful. Improper grammer makes us who we are. Some of us didn't have the opportunity to get the education others did and sometime we know better but it just naturally comes out that way. lol Paula

I've had migraines since I was 13.  They're so bad, I black out and can't see at all.  Luckily, I can catch them before they get too bad.......

It does suck...

My husband is trying to change our speech pattern.  He would like for us to stop saying.."dutten"..when we mean doesn't.  I say it's good ole red neck southern English and why should we change!

I used to not have headaches very much but I do now. Sinus/allergeries are causing them I suppose. I do not use proper language. Being raised in the country is the reason for not doing so I suppose. Helen
