Not a lot to blog about

Because of my bum knee, I'm not riding the horse or going on motorcycle rides... not that weather has been agreeable for that anyhow.  I've tried hobbling out to visit with the horses and calves, taking my camera along.  But stepping on uneven ground makes for extreme knee pain, I found out.   So I don't have a lot of opportunity for taking pictures these days.

I did OK taking two long rides in the car, going to family night for Cliff's cousin Ken on Friday and to visit his aunts on Saturday.  I've learned that if my knee starts hurting while riding in the car, I can get in the back, put my foot up on in the seat, and be fairly comfortable.

Yesterday I made a double batch of tater tot casserole for the daughter's family; it's a pretty effortless dish to make, and I was glad to have them over.  Even though I'll admit I'm not much fun to be around lately.  In fact, I'm a grouch!  Unless I take a couple of pain bills.  Then I'm a zombie.  A grouchy zombie consuming lots of Tums.

Thursday I'll have the arthroscopic surgery.  Whoopee!

I hope you surgery goes well. Over the counter Prilosec taken an hour before a meal in the morning helps heartburn or acid reflux a lot. I have to do that a lot. I know what you mean about getting out and doing things. When we ride for a distance I have some foam and use pillows to lay down in the backseat. Hope your day will be pain free today. Helen
