It's a wonderful life!

I can't believe it's been three years since I did a journal entry about the old movie "It's A Wonderful Life", talking about why I love it so much.  It's my favorite Christmas entry out of any I've posted on this blog.

Click HERE.  (Not you, Russ... I know you hate the movie.)

Okay, I followed the link and found a jewel in your archives.  What a great entry.  Here is the comment I left there tonight: "Here it is years later and this entry is still putting lumps in grown men's throats.  This is one of my favorite movies of all times and I love to watch it alone or just with Paulette becasue I always tear up at the end of it.  Your observations touch deep with this entry.  Thanks!  Merry Christmas!"

I *do* like that movie.  I live it, daily.  Things fall apart, cats destroy a Christmas tree, kids wear pants with holes in the knees, and my car has no defrost.  Yet, I feel thankful and blessed.  There are those with no home, no tree, no car, no clothes for their kids.  I am blessed, and thankful for it.

Thanks for this reminder entry.  I'm going to pull out my copy and make sure I watch it during this season.

I just read your Wonderful Life post.  Great post.  I enjoyed reading your personal experiences in relation to the movie.  I passed on watching it this year and I believe your Wonderful Life wonderful post was a great subsitute.
Merry Christmas to all of you too.
