I love walking in the snow!

Cliff didn't want to walk today; he had projects going, and besides, he didn't want to get his feet wet.  Sadie and I, however, couldn't wait to get out in the white stuff.  We got only an inch of snow, at most; but it was enough to give the world that hushed feeling that I love so much.

When I got back almost to the house, I saw Cliff had fed the horses some alfalfa hay, so I took a video of them eating.  My original plan was for you to hear their chomping, which was pretty darned loud.  However, wind noise covered up all that, so I added Dean Martin singing an appropriate song... which was a couple of seconds too long, so I added two still shots I had taken of Sadie during our walk.

Enjoy.

Boy they were really chomping that hay. The pictures of Sadie walking in the snow were pretty. You did good on the choice of a song to use. Helen

Beautiful creatures! My working dog Pickles loves the snow! I think she encourages my second childhood. You can almost guarantee when it snows we are both in the middle of it frolicing like school kids on a snow day. Thanks for the smile today hon! (Hugs) Indigo
