What have we been up to?

After selling our 1996 1500 Honda and riding an 1100 Gold Wing for a couple of months, we realized you can't go from a 1500 to an 1100 and be happy.  Since life is short, and you only live on this earth once, we knew of an easy fix for our little mistake:  Cliff's cousin, Darryl, had a 1998 Gold Wing that he wanted to sell, because he found out he couldn't handle it; he's had lots of health issues lately.

Problem solved.  We're happy.  Darryl's happy.   His mom, Cliff's  Aunt Gertrude, is especially happy, since she didn't want Darryl out riding a motorcycle in the first place.  Just goes to show you, moms still worry about their kids, even when the kid is well past middle age.

I know, I know.  We're totally nuts.  Don't worry about it.

Once we loaded the motorcycle onto the trailer, we headed to St. Louis so we could ride with Cliff's sister and her husband, just like old times.

More later.

OMG, I am sooooo happy for you two, and she sure is a beauty (or is a motorcycle a 'he'?) !!  Right decision in by book !  Yep, life is short, and I love that you're living it in a wonderful and exciting way!  (Color me green) ...    Judy

I hope it was warm out your way on that cycle.  It's getting cold for that here in Northern Ohio.  We may have some snow showers here this week.  You are so right, we only get one life here on earth...one spin so to speak...hang on for the ride.

How nice that 'things' worked out for all.  A nice long ride on a nice 1500 is just what the doctor ordered.
