I'm thankful

Today I'm thankful for good doctors everywhere, and all sorts of prescriptions that help people live longer and healthier lives; Lipitor and Niacin, for instance, which help my husband stay healthy.

Conditions that had to be accepted and endured 100 years ago can be helped or cured now; I've often wondered how people with common bladder infection, back in the old days, managed to cope.

Thank God for modern medicine.

I'm just thankful that I survived to reach Social Security age ... I get a lot of treatments that keep pain at bay... yes, these many new treatments are almost a miracle!  I had thought that I'd be working forever ... but, started falling apart.

I take Lipitor too, along with a doz other meds, so I'm grateful to the strides that have been made in medicine.

Yes, we have advanced in medicine but I think in health we are in decline.  We need to buy healthier food at the stores and so I am trying to buy less of the pre made snacks and stuff and buy more whole foods.  Hugs,

It sure is better then the "stuff" my mama use to give me such as coal oil and sugar for coughs and black drought for cleaning out which she thought I needed everytime I said a cross word. I'm thankful for niacin too and flax seed capsules. Paula

Yes, that is a really good thing to be thankful for. So many good medications these days. Oh I dont want to think about the agony of a bladder infection without any relief...I would have lost my mind.
