Turning heavy metal into cash

Today we  hauled the first load of old iron to the junk yard.  It was great fun watching the fellows unload it; I believe that man could have picked up a nickel off the ground with that grabber-thingie.  And it was fun receiving the check for $120.  Considering our pickup gets about 10 MPG, Cliff still cleared over $100.  It'll go into his farm fund.

Neat! I'm so glad you mentioned the outcome of all that recycling. I'd say that makes all the labor worth while. Not to mention I'll bet the ditches look a lot cleaner too. LOL!
