odds and ends pictures

I call this picture "You'll never walk alone".  We were taking our morning walk and the horses decided to accompany us.  I made the mistake of setting my camera for smaller (less pixels) pictures, and it turned Blue into a dark blob like my old camera used to do.  I won't be doing that again!

This farm is about four miles from here; I ride past it often.  It looks so inviting back there in the trees, almost as if it were in a park.  I'd hate to have to try and clean that huge house, though.

This is the entrance to their drive.  Notice yellow ribbons on three trees.  I wonder if they have a relative in the armed services.

The granddaughters and I roasted hot dogs and marshmallows at my cabin Tuesday.  I took this from inside the cabin.

The girls took various pictures of the smoke drifting through the trees.

Looks as if your horses enjoy the walk with you and Cliff or, are they wanting a snack? Nice pictures as always. paula

Oh I loved the pictures.  I love the fact that the horses wanted to follow you.  They must love you.  Our cats follow us when we go for a walk and so we hate to go walking b/c we don't want them in the street.  We have to put them in the house if we do.  They always do fine in the house...even for several hours.  But it is indeed funny that the cats act like dogs and your horses are doing this too.  LOL.
So cute.
I am sure the girls enjoyed their outside cookout.  I would have!

I love the picture of your walk with the horses...instead of taking the dog for a walk you guys take the horses for a walk. LOL  (LOVE IT)  Your pictures are beautiful...so nice and green.  Unlike here....everything is brown from like of rain.
We did get a small shower this evening, but it didn't last 15 minutes.  Thanks for sharing your pictures.              Hollie

Horses are curious creatures.  When we children used to walk through our grandfather's pasture to get to the ranch house, I hate attracting the attention of the black cow with a crmpled horn as she would ran after us bellowing to drive us out of her domain. Most animals just follow along curiosity getting the best of them  Gerry  http://journals.aol.com/gehi6/daughters-of-the-shadow-men
