Don't look if you're squeamish

Here are some random pictures sent me by my daughter-in-law in Georgia, taken of my son after his motorcycle wreck.  I'd explain what's going on in the various shots, but I really don't know exactly.  I know the apparatus on his leg is to keep cool water circulating around it to reduce swelling.  The picture of the stitches is pretty self-explanatory.

I found crutches were very hard on the underarms.  I wished I would have had a walker when I broke my foot years ago.  I imagine he is sooooo glad to be home. 'On Ya' - ma

Hey Donna I live in GA too.  I know Jim is happy to be home.  Maybe he will heal quickly.  Your granddaughter is a cutie pie.

I had one of those water leg coolers that circulates water thru the cast for swelling. They work good but are uncomfortable.

I feel bad for Jim! I was in bad shape back in the summer of '01 and had to use a walker after my auto accident, those things are embarrassing! Maybe not for an elderly person but someone our age doesnt want to be seen in a walker.

I hope he heals FAST.

Wow.  Looked pretty serious but, he doesn't seem to be taking it all that bad!

In a few years he'll be able to tell when a weather front is comin' through.  That sure is some stitching he got.   Anne

OUCH! Poor guy.... and during the summer time too :(    I had a partial body cast one summer, and the heat doesn't make any of it more comfortable!

Wow, I really needed a haircut before this accident. Oh well, I've got one now.

Hope your son is better soon.  His leg looked really swollen in that cast.  Perhaps the cast was really big.  May he recover completely.

Oh  Iam glad it was just his leg and not his head! Dave's first cousin was in a really bad motorcycle wreck and had a serious head injury and ten years later can barely talk and cannot walk!
