Nobody looks this good, these days

I don't realize how OLD I am until I see something like this on Youtube... I had pictures of the good-looking boy (on the left in this picture) plastered all OVER the walls of my room when I was a teenager.

As I remember, the Ozzie and Harriet show was on Wednesday nights.  I had to go to Church on Wednesdays, so I didn't get to watch it.  But once in a blue moon, we got home in time to see the last five minutes of the show, and that's when Ricky Nelson sang.  Just like THIS.

He still looks good in these videos.  It's a shame about his untimely death.

Oh yes how perfect they look. Sometime I watch a little of a western with John and wonder how those woman have every hair in place and clothes so clean when they are way out in the no where. Good shows back then. Paula

We always keep those in the movies and TV pictured in our minds just as they were years ago.  We age, but they don't -- in our minds anyway.

Yummy!  I always loved Rick, and he was one of those that got better looking as he got older!  If that is possible!  He was sure a cutie!  I watched that show too, but probably in reruns.  I was born in 53, and I can't remember when the show started, for sure.. but, just like  "I love Lucy.. My Three Sons...Leave It to Beaver, etc..." Ozzie and Harriet was one of my favorites too! :)

WOW ! Rick Nelson. What a dream boat ! I watched 'em too. My thinking is, they look so good because their eyes are 'clear' and at that time, drug free. Unfortunately the later years were not so 'free' for Rick. They always appeared to be a very wholesome family and reports about them were usually favorable. It's sad when people make the wrong choices. But that's what life is all about isn't it? Choices. Thanks for the trip down TV memory lane.
