Finally, a sunny day

Because it was a picture-perfect day, I went for a two-hour ride on Blue (long enough, by the way, that my knees are still protesting, but it's worth it).

I love riding my horse, just finding out what lies over the next hill

and around the next bend.

I always check the water level of the Missouri River when I ride past the Corps of Engineers.  It's still bank-full, by the way.

After I got home, I checked Cliff's garden, which I reluctantly admit is looking pretty darned good.

Even the tomatoes.

The timely rain we got yesterday amounted to 1 1/4 inches, and that didn't hurt a thing.  Tomorrow, there's lots of chance for rain again.  I'm glad I rode today.

I may sleep at the cabin tonight.

We've had sunny days and hot since Monday.  High 80's is very unusual here.  I'm glad you got out to ride and hope you enjoy that BLUE moon tonight.  'On Ya' - ma

Those are good pictures. Cliff's garden is looking mighty fine. You have to much rain and we have no rain since I don't know when. Still hot and dry here with smoke coming from South GA until after lunch when the winds pick up and blows it back or away. Close to 90ยบ for several days. Helen

I does look pretty up there.
There is not a cloud in the sky. We are supposed to get rain this weekend from the storm system that is in the gulf. We are praying we will get a good bit. We sure need it something fierce.

Have a wonderful weekend.
Take care  :-)
