A Secret update
We now realize Secret lost part of her tail switch in the freeze that got the ends of her ears. We don't care, we love her anyhow.
I was petting her today and realized that handfuls of dead winter hair were coming off, so I got the soft brush I use on the horses and relieved her of a lot of her old winter coat. She loved it. She leads well. She doesn't get milk any more, but eats plenty of rich pasture by day and calf feed by night.
Although she seems content, I would love to have another calf to run with her for company. Not another Jersey heifer, I can't afford that. But maybe a dairy breed steer. I'm going to keep my eyes and ears open.
Just for comparison, here's a Jersey calf with normal ears:

Awwww, she's so sweet-looking. Look at all that thick lush greenery, wish my yard looked like that! (but then I'd have to be out mowin' already). Judy
I think her ears are cute! Kinda like teddy-bear ears! She's a dollbaby, that's for sure. And she's getting big!

Short tail, shorter ears, she is still adorable. And growing fast!
I think she is just the sweetest looking little Jersey baby there ever was...makes me want one...but I know I got enough going on for now. She is beautiful.
Your's is prettier.
Just think...Secret is custom, one of a kind! LOL. She really is cute too.

I think Secret is beautiful. I love her color. John cuts off the tip on one ear so he can tell from a distance which ones have been vacinated. Paula
Secret is beautiful. A dairy steer makes good freezer meat!
Maybe it is me...but I see very little difference in the ears Mosie...and I think Secret is beautiful!
love ya,
carlene
secret is as pretty as the other jersey in pic
I think Secret is still a very pretty little calf.
