I finally found something good to watch on TV

Every day this week, evidently, VH1 classic is re-broadcasting the same series (hours and hours) of "The History of Rock and Roll".

The first one-hour episode goes way back before my own rock-and-roll experience, and I missed that one today. I'll catch it at 2 PM tomorrow, good Lord willing.

The second episode is where Elvis, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis... all the singers from my own era... come in.

This is good stuff!

Wish I still had Elvis' first two 45's by Sun records that I bought at a new Sears store when I first graduated high school and went to work at an insurance company in San Antonio. Some of my first pay check was spent on the two records and a cheap turntable. Remember when they wouldn't show his gyrating hips on TV. My haven't things changed? Paula

It appears I’ve stumbled into the midst music lovers. Good for you all. Myself tone deaf, most “Rock and Roll,”  not meaning to single this music style out, it’s all noise to me. Bless you lucky souls who can appreciate and support our American artists. Your support keeps our music history alive.
