I'm not going far

I'll still be on AOL for as long as they exist.  But I'm going to gradually learn the ropes of Blogger and see if I can't keep a journal over there.  You won't find much in the way of entries as yet, but I'm learning.  I don't think AOL will be with us forever, and I don't want to lose any more of my memories.  Click here for my new blog.

I went back and added, for the third time, some of my "you've got pictures" albums from AOL.  Somehow I don't expect them to be there when I get up in the morning.

I'm on a friend's computer (mine is still gone waaaah!), and am checking e-mail and journals. It's better than being completely cut off, but I miss 'seeing' everyone on a daily basis <sigh>

Anyway, I've been over at Blogger for a while, and if you would like any help, just give a yell... only don't expect an immediate response as I am computerless for the near future except for the occasional helpful friend.  Think about what you would like for a template and we'll get you up and running! I actually 'mirror' my AOL blog over there, and so do a couple of other people. That way if one server goes down you will still have everything on the other one... also, you can still use your FTP space and YGP space, you just have to have the addresses and correct coding!

I think you will like it, it's really not any more difficult than AOL AND you have a lot more options! Currently I am 'decorated for Christmas over there....

I want to try to put my journal there too, but it took me forever to learn AOL...I'll be lost there. I went over & signed up for a blog...but don't know how to do anything there...I'm lost! :(

I hate to hear you lost your picture albums-but you won't lose this reader :)  I have been on blogger for awhile, I like it.

Be prepared if you do catch that show about Chernobyl on HBO-I was thinking it would be just about the disaster, but it blindsided me and punched me right in the gut.  But I liked it a lot for showing how many good people are out there.  Like I was saying on my blog, it reset my perspective.

I hope you are having a great week-Jeff

each one holds its own problems... I keep a duplicate journal on blogspot and do a lot of copy and pasting lol.. I'll mark your blog journal.  Everyone should cause should anything happen to this one they will know where to find you.. even if they don't "visit" the blogspot one just mark it in favorites.
