I guess I'm unique

I've noticed I'm the only old lady in my town wearing Carhart coveralls.

I've noticed I'm the only old lady you'll see along 224 highway, and on the local gravel back roads, riding a horse.

I think I'm the only old lady in town who listens to John Prine, Floyd 'Red Crow" Westerman, and Kris Kristofferson, enjoying them all.  I confess to also listening to Green Day occasionally.

I wonder what planet I came from?  Or maybe it's my town that's weird.

"Everybody is out of step but my Johnny."

I find nothing weird about you "lady"...you are a free spirit...one who enjoys her surroundings...and gives more of herself to others than she ever imagines....don't change!!!  Happy New Year hugs to you special....Ora

I don't think you're weird.  Unique...yep.  You are a free spirit and a happy lady.  You are genuinely happy with your life....and understandably so.  Do you realize how lucky that makes you?
Have a good night.

I don't think your weird at all.  I think your cool. You are one of my favorites. But i'm 33 so thats probably why. I guess if i was around your age maybe i would think you were weird. But i hope i'm as cool as you are when i get to be your age.

Take care  :-)
