It's another very cool day to be riding, but with my Carharts on, I do fine. I remembered to wear my leather gloves today. It was about 40 degrees when I left, and now it's 47.
I have ridden along 24 highway many times without seeing that cemetery. I found it today because I was taking Blue out across the bare fields. We came upon what looked like a seldom-used driveway, and since Blue seemed to want to check it out, we followed the sparse gravel trail.
There were lots of old tombstones, but I noticed some fairly new graves, too. One was that of a baby who passed away last January.
Two hours is a plenty long ride for this old gal.

Sounds like a plot for a good book! rich
Seems as if it is a family cemetery. I am surprised you haven't heard of it before or seen it before but that is probably farther than you have been riding Blue. Helen
What a peaceful place!! Interesting that you never knew it was there before.

Don't you just love running across something so old? I would have been in my element there. I would have been wandering all around, providing I could get in.. and reading all the gravemarkers. They really do look old. Some of them are so tiny and are tilted.. or at least they look as if they are. Were those baby or little children's tombstones? Or just small tombstones? I am full of questions, aren't I? Well, at least you know I read what you write, and look at your pictures! :)

I love that last picture of blue looking at those headstones.
Looks like someone is keeping it up too.... fun to find new things when you think you know where everything is .... at least I think so ..... Sandra
I like to look at the old cemetaries. There are some way back in ranches here and you don't know they are there. Would Blue wait for you to read the tombstones? Paula
I love old cemetaries!

That was a long ride in the chilly weather. Very invigorating I would think... Glad you were able to get out, I know you love it ! 'On Ya' - ma

I like to look at and read old tombstones. Never know what you'll find. Some nippy riding weather! Sometimes animals are friskier than usual during the first few cold spells. Glad Blue gave you no troubles. - Barbara
Looks like a cemetery that's owned by a specific church. Unless you are part of the congregation, you might have never known it was there. Neat that you stumbled across it. I love reading headstones in cemeteries with a long history.
Oh, I love a cementary...I love to read head stones...its my weirdness.lol-Raven
