Around the countryside

I hate that I couldn't get that sunrise shot without the light poles in it, but by the time I got to a better location, the colors had dimmed until it wasn't spectacular any more.

Looks like we'll be baling the pathetic little batch of hay this evening.  With no rain, alfalfa doesn't grow much.

I like alfalfa sprouts.  Doesn't it always seem like light poles and telephone poles/wire ruin what could be perfect pictures?

Next time take the chain saw to those nasty poles. YOU sure have a BIG cornfield,
a mile across. Would make a lot of "ethanol".

The sunrise is beautiful light poles and all. The corn around here is all twisted up in need of rain. Hope Cliff gets the raking done ok. Helen

The sunrise is pretty even with the poles.

As usual the pics are great.  I showed one sunrise to David and he said you really have 'the eye'.  I agree.

Good shots. Do tell Cliff I've seen fish bellies with more color in them than his calves. LOL  Also, warn him about the heat while baling -- the BP meds make you less tolerant of prolonged exposure to high temps. Am glad to see he's coming along.

I love the pictures.
Rain is hurting the hay crops around here. Normally some fields would be ready for a second cutting by now. If it doews not rain everyone will be lucky to get a second cutting much less a third or fourth!

Not much rain here and not much hay everyones getting 1/2 the amount per field they were getting- pastures are starting to dry up as well. Everyone is worried that there will not be a second cutting
