Anybody want to guess what Cliff's hospital bill was for the second hospital (he spent his first night in a different one)? He was admitted to the second one on Wednesday, April 19, and left on Wednesday, May 26.
Thank GOD for insurance!

I don't want to make a guess but like you said thank heaven for insurance. You can't afford to get sick at all.
I had the surgery 3 years ago and never even saw a bill. I never look at the papers my insurance company sends me (they are supposed to pay all between the 2 companies)so I have no clue but would guess 75000 to 100000? I hate health insurance but it is a blessing.
First off, he was discharged on APRIL 26, if memory serves. Second, my own 15 day stint in hospital several years ago cost a little over $10,000 a day, so I'm guessing it cost $76,000 -- just for the hospital and it's doctors. The surgeon and OR was a separate bill.
Bet it was a pretty penny as they say. My brother and brother-in-law both had that surgery about two years ago. My brother had to go back after several months because something wasn't quite right. They are both doing well now. Paula
Love the pictures of the walking, etc. Hope the Pacerone has been replaced. I'm betting the hospital bill was equal to the doctor bill. I'm happy to hear he's home and doing well.
I kept a journal on AOL for over four years. AOL decided to get rid of journals, so I transferred my memories from there to Blogspot. I don't intend to add to this site, except perhaps to add some pictures that were lost in the transfer; I'm keeping it for the memories: memories of babysitting my granddaughters; of my long-gone dog, Mandy; of nights spent at the cabin; of vacations and motorcycles bought and sold.
Thanks, Blogspot, for helping me save my memories.
I was born in 1944. My husband and I are retired, living in a mobile home, and loving life every day with our oldest grandson living in our old house next door to lend us a helping hand if we need it.

My guess, $300,000.00. Anne

My guess is about $110,000.00.
Have a good night.

All I know is that if you are going to be sick you better be rich or have good insurance! I hope everything is ok. Barbara
Prolly somewhere near a bazillion bucks.
I'll say $45,000.00
Missie
Oh...... I can't even imagine! But, I'm sure with the surgery and everything you are looking at about 50,000.00 at least!
Can you imagine NOT having any insurance?
Jackie
