Monday Photo Shoot

This in from John Scalzi:

Wow, I just had a stellar idea for a photo shoot:

Your Monday Photos Shoot: Take a picture (or find a picture) of something with stars -- the "twinkle, twinkle" kind, not the "famous people" kind. However, they don't have to be real stars: Fake stars -- like the ones on Christmas trees, on neon signs or on the Hollywood Walk of Fame are just fine, too. For example, John's star picture has stars on a dish:

This will illustrate the depth of my cabin fever.  I've resorted to putting a picture of our cheap Walmart shower curtain in my journal.  Now that's sad.

Actually, after racking my brain for a half-hour and being unable to think of a single star in my house, I asked the granddaughters.  Monica immediately suggested the shower curtain.

I don't have a single thing, darnit.  I have an ocean view with a huge lighthouse on my shower curtain, so that won't do!  My kitchen is made up of chicken stuff and pig stuff.  My living room is nick nack...ohhh wait!  I DO have something starish! I have two things now that I think about it!  I have real starfish hanging in a fishnet on my wall in the bathroom, and I have a ceramic star my daughter made at school one year!  I have no digital camera, so I can't show you, BUT I did tell what I had!  Does that count? :)

Funny!  Sometimes things are right there before your eyes and you just can't see 'em!
