AOL is raising its dialup price again?

It doesn't affect me, because I'm on cable.  But I can't believe AOL is raising dialup prices when there are so many cheaper alternatives.

the most i can think is it's that aol is trying to get rid of all dialup and force them to go to broadband.. which is 24.95.  they also put a timer on all dialups that pops up every 46 minutes or so asking if you want to stay on line (like you pay for unlimited because you DON'T want to stay on line!) if you aren't at your keyboard to click it you get bumped off.. nice huh.. i like the way they treat the "overpaying" customers they have.

some of us can't afford cable or dsl.. and some of us are not in area's where we can get high speed.. it seems they want to rid theirselves of dialup anyway.

I guess this is america anymore.. no one seems to be able to make "enough money" to care about the customers..

We also received a notice about the price increase.  We have dsl I suppose that's same as cable as we are not on dial up anymore.  ??? 'On Ya' - ma

I don't have dial up anymore, and I am so glad that I don't!  I was concerned about the price, when I changed to Adelphia DSL, but I can't imagine how I tolerated dial up!  It sucks that they are raising the prices, but I bet  it's because they are trying to get people to change to DSL.
It is a bit expensive, but well worth it to me, since I spend so much time doing what I enjoy!  Playing on this here puter! :)

I have been with AOL since I got my first computer. At that time was 19.95. Now here we are 10 years later and it is 25 something. I like AOL , but if they don't watch they are going to price them selves right out of business.
