Just what the doctor ordered

My oldest granddaughter came to spend the night, and brought along my new grand-dog.  Isn't she cute?  Sheesh, I need a haircut, and you can tell I've been crying.  Anyway, it's nice to have a puppy to pet tonight.

It was hard to tell the granddaughters about Mandy, but I told them as soon as they got here from school, and we all cried together.  Then we went and got my horse, Blue, and brushed him... all three of us at once.  That was good for our souls, and Blue enjoyed it.

It's sad to watch Buddy.  He just looks and looks for Mandy.

I think you look just wonderful.... I understand about how good it feels to hug another dog when you have lost your special one.... not the same but it eases the pain just a bit..... Take care, Sandra

I am so sorry about Mandy. Makes me cry too. You know I lost my chihuahua that I had for 13 years last March and I know how it hurts . This new Grandpuppy is precious, so sweet. God Bless you , my friend.

I'm glad to see you and to see you have a guest.  I had to leave for awhile because you know me.  Just know I'm crying with you.

I worry for Buddy.  That poor guy will be lost.

We were all blessed to  hear her day-by-day antics.  Thanks for that.

Love you,

Joanna

the puppy is so cute, and you look fine. It's so hard losing a pet.  I have a dog who is almost 4 and he is just so spoiled.

Oh, I feel so bad for you !  (((HUGS)))  I'm glad the grand-dog came to visit and your granddaughter too !  Your Mandy is the 3rd journal dog I've read about passing away in the past two months.  Jeanette's Jottings has started a journal with an ongoing story about her Pip and Jottings from the Sticks lost her beloved dog too !  They are such blessings to us. Words don't say enough.  I know you have lots of fond memories and that will help to keep her with you .  'On Ya' - ma

Ohhh a baby Tiny.  That is exactly how she looked as a pup.  I loved your poem about Mandy but I am so sorry for your loss.  Robin and I have been crying all day about it.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Barbara

Awww...what a cute puppy..   Looks like my Lexi, sorta.

I know it's hard for you right now Donna... I know how very much you must miss Mandy.  Dogs become more than just our pets.. they become our best friends.  I'm glad the girls brought over a new little friend to help take your mind of your beloved Mandy...

Prayers are with you...

Oh my goodness... What a little cutie. I know that it doesn't make it better.. but having a puppy to cuddle does help, I know! Be sure to give Buddy extra hugs and treats, it will be good for both of you.

Such a cute puppy! I will miss Mandy so much but my prayers are with you and Buddy.  I use to go and brush my horse when I was feeling sad also, it does help.

That little puppy will be so loved. Its a special kind of love we have for our dog. And our dogs love for us is just amazing, so unconditional. Thats why it hurts so much when they leave us. We lost our CoCo after 16 years it was a heartache although we knew it was her time. But God heals the broken heart. PTL.

I bet it was hard to tell your grand-daughters about Mandy....I think the Lord blessed you by having them there with the pup.

That's exactly what I did after I lost my little dog several years ago... but I waited nearly five months before giving in to the desire for another little furry puppy. Mandy will never be forgotten, but this little one certainly will help fill the void. So cute! Bea

Damned if the critters don't get under a body's skin. So sorry. And Brushing Mandy right out of Blue's hair is a new one on me. But whatever helps is okay. And,ya's might try a blue ribbon in yer hair.

I am so very sorry to hear about Mandy.  I will keep you in my prayers.  We lost our beloved cat, Blanca, recently and the pain runs deep.  My heart goes out to you.

Beautiful little doggie.  That was so sweet of your granddaughter to bring her over.  You look fine...your hair looks fine too!   I again, know what you are going through...I had my crying spells yesterday too...you are all still in my prayers...it is hard on the kids too.  They will bounce back faster than the adults.  No matter what, Mandy will be missed...and was very much loved.
Hugs,
Joyce
