I love a tacky Christmas tree

Thanks to my friend Bernie, from Colorado (a long-time chat friend) Cliff and I found a cheap fake Christmas tree today.  We'd never have checked Hobby Lobby if Bernie hadn't told us they had a big sale on trees.

I hate fake trees; in fact, if it were up to me, we'd not be having a Christmas tree at all, but Cliff wants one as long as we have young grandchildren around.  We paid $10 for this one, so if it only lasts this year I won't complain.

I put the lights on the little tree, but that's all.  When the girls got off the school bus and came inside, they were delighted to do the rest.  Of course, the first thing I asked them to do was arrange the holy family.  They love doing that, and will re-arrange them daily.

They love going through the decorations, remembering when they made certain ones at some Sunday school, or day care.  Yep, that's a tacky tree.  This is what a Christmas tree looks like when kids decorate it.  I love it!

That has got to be the best Christmas tree I have seen.  The girls did a most excellent job.  Beautiful.

I've always had to have fake trees because of my allergies. I'm such a boy in the bubble, but hey you got in the spirit and it rocks!

I don't believe I have ever seen an "ugly" Christmas tree...they are all beautiful...some moreso than others...but they all hold a certain "charisma"...Hugs....Ora

I went to a small cheap fake tree a couple of years ago!  It sure is easier to do.  I did not have any help however, you got the best part of that !!!  Hopefully I will take some pictures soon !  My batteries need to be charged.  'On Ya' - ma

The tree looks great! We've always gone artificial here because of the cats. But I think our old tree looked quite real. The new one? Not so much. But it still looks nice. It looks like your Holy Family could use a stable to hang out in. I'm surprised Cliff hasn't made you one.  ;-)

Oh, I know the kids appreciate the tree so much.  It's pretty.
Thanks for the Psalms 91.  I'll look it up.
I better get going.

I think it's a lovely tree!  It's a "love" tree! :)  Bought with love for your grandchildren, and decorated with love by them! :)
