Our adventure... Day 1, part 1

We put on our leathers and headed south for Branson around 9 AM on Friday morning.  The longer we rode, the warmer it got, and by the time we arrived in Springfield, the temperatures were around 80 degrees.  Unbelievable, for November in Missouri.

We'd stopped at Lambert's on a previous trip, and loved it.  However, because they serve such huge quantities, Cliff and I decided to share one meal.  The waitress informed us that we'd have to eat from the same skillet (that's what they use as plates) and we decided we could manage that.  We asked her to wipe off the table, since both of us were sticking to it (ewww).

Then Cliff got a plastic coffee cup that was leaking water from its insides, which didn't make him real happy.  So he asked for another cup, which was promptly brought.

The food is still good there, but we pretty much decided to pass it up next time.  Oh yeah, did I mention Cliff found a hair in his food?  It didn't look like hair from someone's head, either.  (Ewwwww.)

But the ride was great, and we arrived in Branson by 4 PM.

Ewww is right on the hair in the food!!  I don't even want to imagine where it may have come from! Yuk!

So glad you and Cliff are having so much fun on your motorcycle, Mosie.  That's what it's all about!  Good times together!!

eeeeek.....I'm just going to pretend it was a...DOG HAIR!  Yeah...dogs.....  (don't ask me why dogs would be in the kitchen.  A dog hair is better than the alternative, isn't it?!)

Cliff do-rag is slick....  :-D  My daughter says he's cool....  hee hee....

Interesting pics from Lamberts.  I think I would have enjoyed your trip except for the bike having problems.  Are my comments annoying since I haven't visited in a while and I just keeeeeeeep on commenting away?....everytime you open an alert it's me....again....LOL.

Ewwww....the whole deal at Lamberts seems to be one big gross fest. Now I wouldn't mind sharing the same plate as my hubby but sticky tables, faulty plastic coffee cups and hair in the food.

I wouldn't stop there next time either.
