MY cabin

I keep my cabin-bag on a hook in the hallway, and if I think of something I'll be wanting to take back with me, I put it in there.  I always put the camera in it, and whatever book I'm currently reading.

I spent three hours yesterday evening at the cabin, and since it was cool, I started a quite pleasant fire.  I keep a five-gallon container of water inside, but I seldom use any except to quench the dogs' thirst.  Since I didn't want to leave a fire burning last night when I came back to the house,  I used the last of my water supply to put out the campfire.

So I brought the container back to the house to fill.  Once it was full, I placed it in the little red wagon and headed back.

I swept, saw evidence of mice, found the place where they were coming in, and fixed that.

I made four trips across the pasture to the woods today.  I love my cabin.

I would think the reason Mandy doesn't go off exploring is she is keeping guard on you. Good idea to keep a bag handy. Helen

Loved the picture of Mandy; I bet the cabin is a nice place to visit.
