Monday Photo Shoot: Fall colors

Blogfather John has given us this assignment

Your Monday Photo Shoot: Capture the changing seasons with a shot of the fall foliage near you.

Well John, it'll probably be another week before our colors are at their best; but I can show you what we have right now.  I took this shot as I was going to the cabin this evening.  The sumac is a lovely red.

That's the way our trees are here too !  A few brilliant ones here and there and then many still green.  It seems a little late for color this year...maybe that means winter will come late too!  Wouldn't that be grand !  'On Ya' - ma

Katrina denuded most of our trees. We usually don't get any color until the end of November. I'm not sure we will see any color this fall!
Thanks for sharing yours.

yeah we have some turning here and there just to remind you it's fall, but it really has been warm.  Got into the mid 40's last night.  And my Mums are NOT happy.

That's very nice. I like those deep reds. At least, you all have fall foliage. Everything stays green where I live.

I think we'll reach our peak color changes here in a week or so, too.
