mostly fives

I got this from Patrick's Place

Ten years ago (August 1995):  Well, we'd had a 50th birthday party for Cliff that year, and my daughter had annouced that she was pregnant with Monica.  Oh, and Rachel and Kevin got married that year.  Good year!

Five years ago (August 2000):
I had gotten my first job in many years, and loved it!  Boy, was it fun to spend that money.

One year ago (August 2004):  My knees were killing me, but I was still working at Kohl's distribution center.

Yesterday:
I went swimming in the neighbor's pool with my husband and two granddaughters.  Great fun!

Today:
Read my previous entry to see what I did today.

Tomorrow:
I know I'll be babysitting my daughter's two girls, Monica and Nattie.  I hope to ride my horse Blue early in the morning.

5 Snacks I Enjoy:
Popcorn, Doritioes, Chili cheese Fritoes, cheese of any sort, and Nathan's hot dogs.

5 Bands/Singers that I know the lyrics of most of their songs:
Merle Haggard, Bobby Bare, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristoferson, Bob Dylan

5 Things I Would Do With $100,000,000:
That isn't much money, but first I'd pay off all my debts.  Then I'd go visit my friend Joanna in Washington, DC again.  Then I'd take a trip to Colorado.  I'd let Cliff trade his John Deere for a new one, just one size bigger.  If there was anything left, I'd plan on something I could do with both of my kids and their families.

5 Locations I’d Like to Run Away to:
Colorado, Washington, DC, England, Virginia, and Branson, Missouri

5 Things I Like Doing:
Blogging, riding my horse, going to the state fair with grandchildren, cooking for any family members, and eating out with my husband.

5 TV Shows I Like:
Mostly re-runs:  All in the Family, The Andy Griffith Show, I Love Lucy, Barney Miller and Frasier

5 Famous People I’d Like to Meet:
Tom T Hall, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard, the first George Bush, and Jimmy Carter (again, but for a longer period of time, and on a more personal level).

5 Biggest Joys at the Moment:

The fact that I saw five of my grandchildren today.  I have a husband that worships the ground I walk on.  I have the horse I always dreamed of.    I have 43 acres with a cabin in the woods.  And I got to meet with several of my Internet friends a couple of weeks ago.
