Three journals I read regularly are heart-breaking these days.

I've read "Watching My Sister Disappear" for a long time, but just this week, the sister with Alzheimer's had to go to a nursing facility.  It's a rough time for the family.

"Just One Girl's Head Noise" is a journal I'd check from time to time, usually by clicking on the link in someone else's journal.  Her world has turned upside down since finding out she has lung cancer.  She's asked that people share this journey with her.

Here's a lady who was already having plenty of problems in her life.  Just as I thought it couldn't get any worse, it did:  Her son was killed by enemy fire in Bagdad.  Read "From Harts Creek To Smithfield".

Pray for these people, please.  My heart goes out to all of them.

Yes, I am praying for each of them.  My heart breaks when I read their journals, but I also see an incredible amount of intestinal fortitude.   blessings, Penny

I will be praying for them all !  I don't read too many journals, but I'll visit these.  Thank you for letting us know about them.  'On Ya'  - ma

I'm sorry to hear about Watchinig my Sister Disappear, I had been reading her journal for a while, but not recently so this is sad news.
Hope you are having a good week!

2 of the 3 are already regular reads of mine. I try to check in a couple of times a week... The third "Watching My Sister Disappear" I am not a regular reader of, but have stopped by thru other journals occasionally. My heart and thoughts go out to all of them... they are amazing, resilient, brave people.

I am beginning to think we need to rename dog days of summer to the tragic days of summer. So much sadness right now.

It is amazing the heartache people deal with. I had read the journal of the poor sister dealing with the alzhiemers in her sisters life. It began to upset me so I stopped getting it sent. I think I need to do a checkup of my own attitudes about others who have courage to share what they are going through. Yes, and prayers for them all is in order. Thanks for the reminder Mo.
