That's the sunrise that greeted me, coming back to the house this morning, after a night in the cabin.
Mandy is always ready to go to bed before I am. Buddy stayed with us until we both turned in for the night; then he left. I guess he was ready to party all night, but we're both early-to-bed folks.
I awoke around 5 A.M. As much as she loves sleeping at the cabin with me, Mandy's always anxious to leave at sunup. If fact, if I let her out, she'll head to the house without me.
Tomorrow is Van's Warped Tour, the punk-rock fest I'm attending with two grandchildren. I know we'll have fun.

Now doesn't Mandy look compy on your bed. I was going to get a pic of the moon last night before I went to bed but when I went outside it was sprinkling rain then before I went to sleep it was thundering. I think the full one is Wed. night so maybe I can get one then. Bet that sunrise was pretty for real. Helen
That sunrise is the best picture yet! I don't know how your pulling off those low light shots like that, but that one could make a good desktop picture.
i loved the sunrise picture,, it really is gorgeous,, but i must admit that picture of mandy on the bed really got me!!! so cute,, these dogs are special!!!!
I think Mandy likes your cabin MORE than you do. I love seeing all of your pictures. Anne
If you ever get the chance, read Colin Fletcher's "The Complete Walker".
He is a master of viewing the world "one step at a time".
Your Cabin in the woods reminds me of the simple things in life too...

I felt my chest tighten when I looked at this picture. Angels were playing in the sky above you.
