My horseback ride this morning

I went outside to groom my horse and ride at 9:15.  By the time I got back home, it was after noon.  No wonder I felt like I was starving!  Anyhow, it was a wonderful time, and I got to talk to another horse-woman who tells me that, as soon as her six more weeks of nursing school is done, we'll ride together.  Of course I was happy that she gave Blue her seal of approval:  she takes her Tennessee Walking Horse to horse shows, so if she tells me I have a great horse, I am more than flattered; she knows what she's talking about!  It's so refreshing to run into someone almost as old as me who has a positive attitude, and this lady does.  Picture number 3 and 6 show her well-manicured farmstead.  It makes me rather ashamed of my yard.

Looks like a glorious day. What a perfect sky too. Glad you have these special rides on Blue. I live my country life through you LOL...

Oh I love the pictures and I know you had a great time. Hey, tell Cliff to back away from the forsythia.   Anne

Oh goodness, do you realize how beautiful those clouds in that blue sky looked in your pictures? You did a great job in taking these. Both horses are beautiful!
Seems like you had a good time...I'm happy for you!

I'm so jealous; I used to have a forsythia ... better plant some at my new home.
It's been two years since my old mare died, I'd had horses since my teens ... I REALLY SHOULD GET ANOTHER!

Lovely ride.  So glad you will soon have a buddy to ride with.   Forsythia....like the 2nd sign of spring...First buttercups then forsythia and bradford pears.  You should have seen the spring come to life in the landscape on our trip down to FL.  It went from dull to pretty as the temps warmed and we got further south.  Those pinkish purple trees are out now.  I'm not sure what they are called.
